Or should I say Thursday. This issue goes out early due to tomorrow’s athletics carnival. This week has been a particularly exciting week with the build up to the carnival. The year eights have performed better than expected and we are confident that we have enough talent amongst the cohort to do us proud tomorrow.  We are combining our year eight advisories with the year nine advisories to make five teams competing against each other at Langford Park. Students have been pre-selected for events based on their performance in training.BYO There will be a sausage sizzle available, so the students will be able to purchase these, but if that does not suit, they will need to bring their own lunch along. Don’t forget they will need sunscreen, hat and a water bottle, plus the correct clothing and footwear. Each team has a team colour and so a t-shirt in that colour is encouraged. |

The 2007 Dare to Lead Excellence in Leadership in Indigenous Education Awards were announced by the Hon. Julia Gillard, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, at a ceremony in Parliament House, Canberra on 14 March 2008.
