In my Advisory, there has been some very advanced work being done. Many students are doing tasks and projects well beyond their year level with three students working with year 11 and 12 text books.

Some of the topics include: how Aircraft Carriers propel through the water, how sound travels, the parts and function of the heart, a soccer skills video, psychology, AFL football biomechanics and gun laws in Australia and the USA.

During this week however, we have been moving away from our tasks and working on intensive numeracy and literacy during advisory time. I feel a great number of students will benefit from this extra work!
