Week three and week four have seen the introduction of a new music program at the school run by our new AIEO, Mr Kim Smith. Last Thursday, Mr Smith gathered all students who were interested in learning how to play bass and also wanted to learn more about music.

The class was held in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) and we talked about what the objective of the program was and Mr Smith also gave out handouts about basic guitar.

The students still interested gathered in the PAC this Thursday for lesson two. We were all given a handout on what music is made up of and answered the questions. If all goes well, Mr Smith hopes the students will be able to use the instruments in the following weeks and eventually form a band!
